Good week we will have

Better News:
I did the rubix cube in 155 seconds with my eyes closed. :)
The Baptism is this week.
The talks were really good for general confence. odd that the topic of saturday seemed to be the law of chastity. (marriage between a man and a wife) and sunday was about Jesus Christ and the restoration.
6 of the speakers at general conference have visited us here in tennessee. also 6 more at the mtc i saw.

search "Latter day night live" on youtube. it will give you a good laugh. we had a comedy night at the church on thursday. pretty good.

love you all

"I don't really know what i'm doing"

The Good News of the Week:
One of our investigators, named Alexis has committed to get baptized on the 12th of April. :)
I did the Rubix Cube with my eyes shut. (Under 6 minutes)
Im still healthy.
I seen pictures of the Payson Utah temple. it looks really cool and should be done soon.
This week is General Conference.

(Picture: Enjoying P-Day at Waffle House)

The Bad News of the week:
Some dude came fast around a blind corner and nailed our car. So they took away my driving privileges because there has been 2 "accidents"
We are now biking for the remainer of my mission. (my comp does not have a licence or he'd drive)
When our third companion got transfered i also packed up my bike. (Tuesday night) the accident happened wednesday night. jaja. Best be unpacking that soon.

Funny News:
When the Office Elder came to our apartment on sunday to take the car away we had lost the keys so he couldnt take the car. jaja. so we got to keep the car for another day. but we legitly lost the keys and can not find them. theyre going to nail us for a new key unless we find it. we have looked everywhere!

Other news.
A 8yo boy got baptized in the ward. While they were re-painting the church and the baptismal font was covered in plastic and tape and filth. but we cleaned it off and got it filled in time.

We went to a "mexican restarurant" it was dissapointing. not mexican at all. tv dinner might be better.

Karm thrift shop.

I like thrift shopping. its good. I got a nice massage chair thing today. also a sweet Tennessee sweater a few weeks ago. its good.

We keep having investigators at church not 29 like they do in the Philippians but still good. six out of the last 7 weeks we have had one. that's real nice. we will definitely have a baptism or two soon. better sooner than later.

We finally got the car back after three weeks of biking. not to fun. not sure why it took so long for them to fix it. they said it would be done tomorrow 80 times.

There is a new "Mormon message" video about bulling. its pretty good. had almost 200k vies in 4 days. check it out. http://youtu.be/FYVvE4tr2BI

I had a dream ryan had 4 kids. weird. one day...

That's all. Yuns remember me

in the groove

Moving kinda sucks. we helped one family move. (they had most packed) for 12 hours on Saturday. There were a lot of boxes. We filled up 2 36ft trucks. Nice and sore for the next day.

The investigators are doing terrific right now. We have 7 that are way close to baptism and 6 more that only need to go to church twice. (which is really a difficult thing here in the south, no lie) so really the 7 should get wet pretty soon.

We have had investigators at church for the last 4 weeks. which has not happened since I was being trained.

Elder Langsmith (from alabamer) is pretty awesome. We are treating him good (see below for pic, last post) I hope we are starting him off okay.

im teaching everyone the rubix cube (3 elders) they seem to enjoy it. I pretty much quit other thatn to teach people. it takes up too much time (

Hello

McDonalds here has a fire place. thats good because its cold. real cold. Snow Storm #Leon went by next week. It was bad snow and very icy. We had to push the car up a couple hills. :) all was good until the end of the day and then we went to our parking lot and the brakes didnt work so we crashed into a ditch. not much damage, just a cracked bumper.

We got to have a meeting (all mission leaders ie rs/e/bish) with elder L.Tom Perry of the 12 apostles. that was pretty cool. Lots of members were saying how thats the 3rd apostle in their life. its the 10th of my mission. i guess ive been blesseed.

“This is the most remarkable era in the history of the Church. This is something that ranks with the great events that have happened in past history, like the First Vision, like the gift of the Book of Mormon, like the Restoration of the gospel, like all of the things that build that foundation for us to go forward and teach in our Father in Heaven’s kingdom”
Elder Toomey. Elder Milstead (Alaska/BYUI) Elder Spencer (af) Elder Koelliker (Kaysville)

Knox--- and it shall be open unto you ---ville

We have done more tracting this week than the last 5 combined. :) dont worrry i like it. We also try to oym (talk to random strangers, give them a card, ect.)

I am getting to speak a lot more spanish here in knoxville lately. its good. We have a class now for sunday school in spanish. Its excellent that people are willing to sacrifice so much. the newest returning member has to drive 45 minutes to church. Its hard for some to drive to the temple 5 minutes away once a month. real uplift to see the sacrifices of others.

We are continuing to teach Kayla, the wife a member. She is real sweet. Enjoyed the lesson on the temple. it was a great help for both of them.
for you to learn more watch http://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2013-02-1070-temples?category=missionary/introduction-to-mormons

Currently we are focusing the missionary work on teaching. centering it on listening. Its real important in any situation of life to show real concern for others. You will know how to respond not by thinking of what to say next but rather by

The Cupp family in the Chilhowee ward is excellent. They feed us almost every week and its always the best food. and they have tons of it. She is real modest about it also. My favorite family as of today.

Commercial break. Simply apple juice is pretty good. its a darker colored aj. maybe more pure? kindof expensive but you can get a $1 off at coupons.com (also many more good coupons)

Congrats to Elder Daniel Leonard McCombie getting his call to the Baltic Mission (its by Ukraine)

Someone suggested that i read - The Virtue of Kindness by JOSEPH B. WIRTHLIN
http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2005/04/the-virtue-of-kindness?lang=eng
i have not yet but will still pass on the info.

Also a missionary suggested i listen to/read "What i wish i knew when i was single" by john Bytheway text at http://deseretbook.com/misc/pdf_books/bytheway_single.pdf for your enjoyment. to long for me to read right now. and not really an important subject today. but you might like it. he gives good talks. actually came one for a fireside in the stake.
